The tornado had gone on and on, unwilling to stop its cruelty. The path it journeyed was in complete dissarray, and now, the wind was finally, but by bit, beginning to get smaller. It heaved and whipped the picked up debree from it's internal eye, littering the barren area with wreckage.
A black and brown tom was flung from the midst of the tornado. He was beaten, battered, and bruised. But luckily, he had been thrown from the storm at a low height.
The tom lay lifelessly on the grassy, littered ground. He did not move, not even by a twitch of an ear.And then, after a moment, a miracle happened: the tom's flanks shallowly began to heave. He was breathing.
And then, all at once, Batclaw's yellow eyes flickered open. The ThunderClan warrior coughed and spluttered. He was certainly a sight. A small nick in his ear had appeared, oozing blood. His front paw was oddly bent, and he was bleeding from various odd places, though most of them were only shallow scratches. Sighing, Batclaw attempted to get up, only to be brought down again by a horrible pain in his side. When the rock had crashed into him, he must've broken a rib or two. But none of this seemed to matter now. The tom thanked StarClan that he was even alive.
From his awkward position, Batclaw looked around. He couldn't see much, just the churning of the rabbit river, scattered wreckage, and a few grass reeds.And....was that a flash of tortoiseshell fur he could make out in the reed bed a few fox lengths away?
Batclaw's eyes brightened slightly but then his heart fell. It wasn't Trixiepelt. And it looked dead.Trixiepelt was probaly somewhere far, far away, if she'd even got spitten out yet at all.
Now, the horror of the situation was really beginning to sink in. Batclaw was near death.Defensless. Alone, with some good-as-dead other cat. The tornado was now out of earshot, leaving a sickening, almost unbearible silence. And back home, half of the forest was probaly dead. And Trixiepelt....it was all his fault! Batclaw clamped his eyes shut, as if denying the situation. He was now in some unknown place...without any hope of making it back....and did he really want to see the ruined forest that awaited him anyway?

Trixiepelt was instantally knocked out as she was swept off her paws, though many things crashed into her body she felt nothing. It wasn't until the end of the storm until her eyes flickered open, her amber gaze catching the fimilar pelt of Batclaw for only a moment. Her gaze flickered to the ground, which she was quickly falling to. Her eyes snapped shut as she realized she was free-falling to the ground below. SPLASH!!! The flame color tabby hit the deep waters of the river and instantly, dispite the pain it caused she began to paddle toward the shores. Soon, her paws hit the soft dirt of the shore-line. Once on shore and away from the roaring waters, she collasped agian.

The extra splashing of Trixiepelt's paddling only sounded like a single note against the rhythm of the crashing waves.Batclaw's yellow eyes were still clamped shut.He knew he should be trying to evaluate the situation right now, but at the moment, he didn't want to open his eyes for another moon. But as the wind shifted, and blew toward him now, he caught a faint, familiar scent.
Can't be possible...just a dream...wake up...Trixiepelt's alive...still in RiverClan...you're safe, in your nest. Anyway....she can't be here. Batclaw told himself this over and over, until he almost believed it.But on false hope, his eyes flickered open by a slit.
There, before him, only a few rabbit hops away, was a familiar flame colored pelt....
Batclaw's eyes widened in shock and he struggled to stand once again, this time gingerly pushing himself into a low crouching position. Trixiepelt! he yowled across the clearing, almost wary of an illusion.

Trixiepelt's ear flicked at the sound of the tom's voice. Her amber eyes flickered open and slowly glanced around the clearing. Instantly, she spotted the tom's black pelt only a few rabbit lengths away. She could tell he suffered a lot more damage then she did, with another soft grunt she pulled herself to her paws again. She padded to her friends side agian, glancing over his wounds. "Y-Your here too?" She questioned. She was sure her mind was playing tricks on her again.

The tom glanced his friend over, only staring blankly for a moment, as if he still couldn't believe the situation. And then, Batclaw sighed. Yeah....where are we? he wondered aloud, his yellow gaze sweeping the foreign landscape vaguely. Thoughts still whirred through the warrior's head, and he sighed, looking over at Trixiepelt. And then, all at once, the questions spilled out.
What about our Clans? They had no warning? We didn't see it until it was too late....imagine the kits! Queens! Elders!A-And Are you okay? No, that's a stupid question.Of course you're not okay! How bad are you hurt?! I'm sorry! This is all my fault. If I hadn't distracted you, you might be safe on the river's other side by now.And....there's someone else....
The words tumbled out of Batclaw all at once, almost a repeated babble. But at his last words, the black and brown tom pointed with his muzzle over at the patch of still unstirring tortoiseshell fur.

Trixiepelt let out a small purr of laugh "We're in the middle of NOwhere" She replied, her gaze drifting around the clearing. As he mentioned the clans, she shook her head "The tornado hit on the edge of the borders....Thunderclan in near the other side and Riverclan was completely away from it. They'll be fine" She purred. As he blamed himself, she let out another laugh "It was no one's fault!!" She insisted "You can't blame yourself for something that happens naturally" She added, giving the tom a small nudge. "Im fine. A few cuts and scrapes isn't going to change anything.....but are YOU okay?" She meowed, nodding to his twisted paw. As he mentioned the other cat, she turned to check who else had fallen into the storm's grasp. Instantly, she reconized the pelt. "PEPPERFUR!!!" Her eyes widened. With one last glance at Batclaw, she bounded over to Pepperfur.

Batclaw flicked his tail, opening his mouth to reply. But he was interupted by Trixiepelt's cry. The warrior watched in confusion as his friend bounded over to the tom, eyes narrowing. For a moment, he hesitated, and then hoisted himself up to follow, limping noticebly on his left front leg. He stared quietly down at the tortoiseshell tom, head tilted slightly. Batclaw's clear yellow eyes were still narrowed slightly in curiousity. The tom seemed unconcious, if not dead. Batclaw cast a curious glance at Trixiepelt, who seemed to be fretting over the cat she called 'Pepperfur'. Lowering his black and brown head to sniff at the cat, he realized that there was indeed RiverClan scent there. And after a moment, the ThunderClan warrior lifted his head to gaze once more at Trixiepelt. He's breathing slightly. Batclaw reported, thanking StarClan for this miracle that all three of them had survived a tornado. So, you know him? Batclaw's voice was casual and curious, but inside, he felt a strange, unfamiliar, but only slight prick of jealously.Shaking himself, he returned his gaze to inspect Pepperfur once more, waiting for the flame-colored she-cat's reply.

((Trixiepelt keeps her jealousy close because it's all herz.))
Trixiepelt could only reply with a curt nod, her gaze still locked on Pepperfur's flank. How did he get cought up in this? He told her he'd be at camp earlier that day. Slowly, she inched closer to the Riverclan tom and nudged his flank slightly. It was obvious the tom was still alive....but for how much longer? Her eyes narrowed for a moment before she pulled away from her friend to glance at the Thunderclan tom.
"Yeah. This is Pepperfur, one of my closest friends in Riverclan"
She retorted, her voice on the edge of a panicy shake. As her gaze met with the tom's, she could have sworn that she seen something flash in his gaze....maybe it was just her. Before Batclaw could add anything else, she let her gaze fall to Pepperfur once again. Taking several deep breaths, she forced herself to stay completely calm or at least appear calm.
"We need to find some sort of shelter and at least heal up some before returning home again"
She meowed, her voice just barely making over the soft mummer of the river. Again, her gaze rose to Batclaw as she awaited his reply.

OOC// Lmao!
Batclaw nodded, gazing down at Pepperfur's seemingly lifeless body. His fur prickled upcomfortabley, but again, he pushed these thoughts away. Maybe there's a cave nearby, He suggested quietly, glancing around. But all that was visible was tall, browned grass. The tortoiseshell tom below seemed to be the most injured of all three of them. Batclaw had a few scratches and a broken paw, as well as a rib or two damaged. And although Trixiepelt looked pretty beat up aswell, she didn't seem to be as wounded as the others. Or at least, she didn't show it. But knowing Trixiepelt, she might hide the pain, which Batclaw knew only too well. He'd have to keep an eye on her. Forcing his troublesome thoughts away, Batclaw forced himself to focus on the situation.Know anything about healing herbs? He asked the flame-colored she-cat beside him.

"Yeah. Frostfang thought us all some of the basics" Trixiepelt meowed rising to her paws once agian. Her gaze wandered the sky once again, a light misty rain fell since the tornado and by the way the clouds gathered the rain would fall heavier later on. With another soft sigh, she turned to Batclaw "I'll take a quick run around here and see if there's any shelter and herbs wew can use." Her gaze fell to the tom's twisted paw "Maybe you should sit out for this one and rest your paw" Though it was more a suggestion then an order. She let her gaze fall to Pepperfur once again "Besides someone has to look out for him" She added.

Batclaw's yellow eyes narrowed slightly. He opened his mouth to protest, whiskers quivering.But- He paused. What could he say? He knew Trixiepelt was stubborn, and half of him had to admit that his friend was right. His black tail lashed behind him as he stood, hesitating with ears flattened reluctantly against his head. He needed some exercise, however hurt he was. But at last, Batclaw sighed and seemed to relax.Alright then... He agreed softly, relaxing.
