[[ Okay. Not that I enjoy sounding like the bitchy admin, but there's a rule for this. Dawneh, you're not sppouse to spam every active thread on LP. You did it before with the 'bumping' every thread and now this. Perhaps spamming threads isn't a rule on LP. Or maybe it is, but tis a rule on every other site. Once again, forgive me.....I'm in a bad mood and seeing all the occ talk annoys me. ]]

OOC:: -nods- And I do not post in every active thread. I used to bump things because I was waiting for SOMEBODY -glares pointedly at Roxie- to reply. Except for once when I was like, the ONLY active person here for about a week or two and just decided to make the site look active by bumping threads so that proboards wouldn't come and say 'hey, look, an inactive site, lets delete.' Although I'm sure they wouldn't have but I was overly dramatic that day and very impulsive. Is anyone else hungry? I am. -goes to find food, then realizes how random that was and that convo isn't finished- And I just had to tell Roxie that I loved her siggy. Which I probably could have done in PMs or the C-box but I was here and just did it anywayz. ^^ Anywayz, you're right Roxie, it was your fault. ^^ So glad you can admit it. -gazes at Roxie innocently- And yepyep, we've officially moved to PMs, so Lineh can posteh now seeing as it's her turn anywayz. -sits back to watch the new budding romance-

She half expected some sneer or some snide remark agreeing with her intruding. She could have lived with being completely ignored as well, and because of this....the female had winced when the tom had padded to her side. Despite having a few friends in Shadowclan, Twilight would never get used to having someone walk at her side once again. Bright green gaze narrowed in slight confusion to why the tom had decided that she'd make any sort of company. If a feline could blush, Twilight would have been turning several different shades of red as the tom quickened his pace to stay at her side. Lucky for Twilight that felines couldn't blush. She couldn't even figure out to why this tom had made her skin warm underneath her pelt......until just now. Twilight paused in mid-step, her gaze narrowed now in anger toward herself. Bandedtail was a known flirt amungst the entire clan. Queens, warriors and apprentices all had stories to tell amungst themselves by the end of the day all of which were about the flirtatious brute that was now at her side. She was just another female to flirt with. Damnit, she was stupid. Now realizing this, she shook her head slightly and continued her fast-paced exit.
"Actually, I wasn't out for hunting. More along the lines of a walk....a patrol even." She replied, allowing her gaze to turn to the tom...but never to make eye-contact with him. A pathetic attempt to free herself from the tom's presence indeed....but perhaps on some level, she didn't want to rid herself of this tom just yet. She had been out to clear her mind and she had done most of that, perhaps a walk with some company was just what she needed. Besides, it wasn't like one long walk with this tom would change either of their lives. She had no idea just how wrong she was.
Pelt flashed from dark to light and then to dark again as she made her way through the forest, rarely pausing to check the air's scent. Even at this speed, her paws made little to no sound as they landed on the forest floor. Gaze flickered from one end of her surroundings and then back again, checking for any signs of.....well anything. She no longer put her thoughts into exactly why the tom had insisted on joining her, seeing that she merely marked herself off as just some random flirt for the brute.
she hadn't even noticed that her thoughts were no longer on her kin either. for once, Twilight seemed to be living in the moment and not the past. Something that she wasn't good at doing....and yet here she was. Now she just needed a witty comeback to whatever the tom would say next.....and then she'd nearly feel like an actual member of Shadowclan.

It would be impossible to guess what thoughts were running through Twilight's mind, and she kept her gaze directly ahead as they walked quickly through the forest. Bandedtail, though also facing forward now, stole a few glances at her out of the corner of his eye and tilted his head slightly as he awaited he answer. Without warning, Twilight stopped altogether suddenly, her expression changing, though it was still nearly unreadable. She seemed slightly angry or upset, causing Bandedtail to frown slightly. He stopped, now a pace or two ahead of the she-cat because of her sudden pause. The silver-pelted tom flashed his clan-mate a quick, questioning look--that clueless one that most toms have, but before he could say anything, Twilight had regained her fast pace. More confused than ever, Bandedtail merely shrugged--if a feline can shrug, and continued on with her, smiling casually as they trotted through ShadowClan territory.
When Twilight finally spoke, he turned to her, though she didn't seem to want to meet his eyes. She had said that she felt more up to a patrol than a hunt, and Bandedtail couldn't help but wonder if this was the truth or some mere attempt to shake him. Still, the way Twilight had put it was almost like an offer. His flirtatious nature and plain curiosity refused to let the moment slip by. Besides, there was something intriguing about this she-cat. He knew that she hadn't been born in this Clan, the odd markings on her pelt said as much. But more than that; Twilight was plain mysterious at times. And he could use the company. What could it hurt?
A small grin spread across the silver tom's features at this as they walked briskly onward. For a moment, Bandedtail said nothing, just faced forward and walked with her. "Mmm. Good idea! Mind if I tag along?" He asked in a good-natured tone that suggested she wouldn't be able to get rid of him that easily. With a flick of his ears and one last glance at Twilight, he walked on, his pawpads brushing against the grass gently. As the night wore on and morning approached, dew was beginning to gather in the forest's grass, making their path slightly damp by this hour. Still, Bandedtail was too caught up in his conversation with Twilight to notice much else. Though the cocky grin had disappeared, a light smile still lingered on his lips.

CALL ME STRONG - CALL ME WEAK She refused to be just another female to flirt with for this tom. She found it annoying the way he just insisted on keeping her company, yet at the same time she was relieved to hear the words. Since she couldn't tell whether he was doing this just to be the flirt he was known to be or just out of friendliness- Twilight hadn't a clue and yet she actually cared to figure out. She had heard from most of the females in the clan that Bandedtail was an easy feline to figure out- that he wore everything on his sleeves....either Twilight was blind or the females of her clan were shallow and needed to learn how to actually look at one's character. Because Twilight couldn't read this tom as easily as the rest had claimed they could. She found him slightly mysterious and that merely made her curious in return. Perhaps it was true- oppisites do attract- or kill each other. she added the last bit herself. Perhaps she would actually find him annoying later on.
"That could be a good idea. Two are better then one. Sure, you could come if you'd like" She replied, forcing her voice to sound more optimisic then she felt...having no idea to whether her fake enthusim had fooled him or not. She didn't fail to notice just how much she was confusing this tom either, or the fact that out of the corner of his eye...he seemed to be stealing glances at her. Was this a good thing then? Was it good to keep him curious and confused? Did it even matter!? No, it didn't because Twilight wasn't planning on making friends that night. Besides, letting him tag along for a patrol wouldn't change anything- now would it? If only she knew how wrong she could be at this.
Unlike Bandedtail, Twilight was more aware of her surroundings then she was with this tom. She hadn't missed the dew gathering or the fact that the eastern side of the sky was growing lighter by the moment. She hadn't slept at all that night, and she guessed the same for the tom. Perhaps the only thing they had in common was thier weird hours of sleep.....
BUT STILL, YOUR SECRETS I WILL KEEP.

When Twilight answered, Bandedtail was a bit surprised. He'd half-expected her to refuse. Still, he couldn't help but feel somewhat pleased as well. There was no telling whether the enthusiasm in her voice was genuine--Twilight's words still seemed carefully guarded. But she'd agreed to patrol with him, so that was something. Bandedtail still wasn't exactly sure why he cared, usually his flirtatiousness was just a way to have some fun, and was otherwise rather detached from the situation. But, Bandedtail decided, what did a chance to get to know one of his Clan-mates better hurt? He supposed he'd taken a liking to the she-cat's unusual personality.
"Great," Bandedtail purred, masking his slight surprise at Twilight's agreement. He glanced around, as if noticing their environment for the first time. This might as well pass for a dawn patrol, then. The silver tom realized. Well, at leas he was making himself useful somehow. But they'd need a place to start. Judging from their position, they were probably closest to the WindClan boarder. But patrols often started from the ThunderClan one, as this route provided the quickest--and stealthiest one. It could go either way, he supposed.
"Where to first?" The tom turned to Twilight expectantly. Since she'd been the one who'd had the idea to start a patrol in the first place, it would be customary--not to mention chivalrous, that she choose the route.
OOC// -grumbles- Tis short, sorry. But it's six thirty in the morning and I'm still half asleep xD.

hey. hey. i wanna be a rockstar ×. As much as she hated to admit it, Twilight was almost enjoying this early dawn patrol and didn't help much that she had company this time. company that's merely here to flirt and continue on his way. Twilight countered her new happiness with a bitter thought- her only defense for getting her hopes of friendship up. Flirting was the only reason why Bandedtail decided that tagging along on this pointless patrol was worth his time.....right? Perhaps she was being a little unfair to both herself and Bandedtail. She was being awfully bitter this evening wasn't she?
×. Then again who could really blame her for the way she was acting? Twilight was a downright freak compared to the other felines in her clan. She was an outcast- and she would always be thanks to her fur and quite possibly her own sibling. Although her clan was still oblivious to the second half of her problems and wouldn't react much when they finally did find out...Twilight fought to keep that secret under wraps for as long as possible. Perhaps she was just unwilling to admit aloud any blood relation to that monster. [[oh yeah. badgerstar and twilight would have been the best of friends. with the brother thing and all]] note to self: work on forgetting the past when you have company. so lost in her own petty problems- she had almost completely forgotten of the latest addition to her 'patrol'. But again, who could blame her? When you're alone most of the time....you tend to forget how to act around others. You forget your manners.
×. Forest-hued gaze swept over to her companion once more this time in slight confusion. Had he just asked her where to go? Was this a joke? She kept her gaze on the tom for awhile longer before turning it back to the slowly waking scene before her. If it was a joke, he had done a perfect job on hiding it. Blinking hard, Twilight forced herself to let go of most of the suspicion toward Bandedtail. She wasn't being fair. It wasn't his fault her brother was a complete jerk. It wasn't fault her brother turned on her. So why was she so unwilling to trust any tom? Not just her brother or Bandedtail....but any tom? If only cats had consolers.
