>>Title has absolutley nothing to do with thread. So just ignore. ^^
.....
>>Or maybe it shall! -goes off the work-
WindClan seemed so empty these days. Not many members resided there. It never had been a big clan, but it seemed they were going on extinction. What they needed was more members. Maybe a few kits. Kits would please Starlight. She loved to play with them and tell them stories, just like her mother had. The silver tabby hadn't known her mother, but she'd heard all about her and her father.
Starlight was the daughter of Stormheart and Darkstripe. Darkstripe had been a young and kind warrior, as beautiful as she was gentle, and always a great friend to all. Stormheart, a ThunderClan tom, had been bright and brave warrior, loyal to his clan and his friends, and a handsome young cat at that. During the time that ThunderClan had a raging forest fire and WindClan had volunteered to share their hunting grounds until things were back in order, the two had met. Though it wasn't love at first sight.
It turned out that another ThunderClan warrior, a spy he turned out to be, had eyes for the she-cat. But only as a lure. He charmed her, and decieved her. Stormheart thought he was rather suspisious, so he followed him and ended up captured. When Darkstripe followed him one day, she grew angry and tried to rescue Stormheart. But a wolf nearly killed her when he caught her off guard. It was Stormheart who rescued her and taken care of her in the end. And when they were stuck together in a cave on the cliff side that happened to be the home of a badger, they took care of each other. They'd fallen in love. They were young and foolish, but it was true. When Stormheart was injured by a dog, they lived together until he healed in ShadowClan. During that short period of time, they considered joining the so-called 'dark' clan as a way to be together. But it was how things were suppose to be. She was pregnant with Starlight and her siblings when her father was merclessly killed by a cat named Clockwerk. After giving birth, Darkstripe had died of grief. True to the very end.
Now her Starlight was, all grown up. Well, maybe not entirely. She still had a lot to learn as a young warrior, but it would come in time as it did for all. She was the spitting image of her mother, but perhaps a little different. She had that sort of eternal youth kind of look, and her silver pelt was glossy from the grooming she was now applying. The new-leaf sun rained down upon the camp, warming the ground as well as her body. She hummed a soft tune as she worked through the rough patches of her thinning coat. It sounded as if it were a lullaby. A very peaceful one, which probably would have done it's job if any kits or tired cats were around to here it. She didn't know how she knew it, but she always had and had grown accustome to humming it whenever she was alone.

A long golden-brown tail wraps around the base of highstump as a young tom winds his way around it. His sleek golden fur seems to glow in a way as the sunlight reflects from it, and his green eyes have a healthy shine to them. For New-Leaf is spreading slowly but surely throughout the moorlands, and the WindClan warrior is confident that his Clan can rise again. His muscles flex as he pads slowly out of the shadows of the camp. Lionclaw has recently stretched, because he has just been napping after a long morning of hunting and patroling.
He spots Starlight a few paces away, and smiles to himself more than to her, for she probably does not see him since she is busy cleansing her sleek silver pelt. Raising his fluffy tail in a friendly fashion, Lionclaw pads over to her, and sits down a few rabbit hops across from her. "Hi Starlight," He meows, and his tone is edged with the certain confidence it usually carries. Lionclaw waits a moment for her to react, before going on. "Nice day."
Its a casual comment, and is just meant for some small-talk conversation of sorts. It is, after all, a nice day. A refreshing new-leaf one, too. Sun streams down in shafts through the canopy of small brush and trees that covers WindClan camp. It is just about the only place in the wide, open moorland territory that is actually protected and sheltered. Lionclaw smiles pleasantly at her, waiting for a reply as he rests his tail at his side.

OOC>>Almost forgot about this! Oh well, I'll reply now! Sorry, it might be kinda short, I have no muse today. Used it all on a bio yesterday. The forest seemed to add music in itself to Starlight's song as the sun crept slowly across the sky. The swishing of the trees and the rustle of the grass and blades of grass soundly like a repeating beat. Critters in the forest scurried to and fro, gathering twigs, hunting for berries. The trees were alive with sounds and movement. Some creatures moved swiftly and quickly, some paused, moving as slow as they could while they surveyed their surroundings. It was so peaceful. Just the way Starlight liked it. But it was still missing something. It was missing the usual bustle of the clan. Something Starlight had hardly ever known because of the clan's scarcity even before she was born. It was something she would have liked to experience.
Starlight was so absorbed in the rhythmic strokes of her tongue on her coat that she hadn't noticed Lionclaw as he approuched. His voice was a warm welcome to the cool silence that had wrapped itself around them only a few seconds ago. "Hi Starlight," he greeted her. "Nice day. Starlight looked up in surprise to see him standing beside her. She smiled and shifted her body so that it gave him room to sit beside her. The tom was a rather handsome young cat, grown to be quite large but with a soft and caring expression. Starlight was sure a few of the younger she-cat's fancied him with the way the giggled and whispered among themselves whenever he was around. The silver she-cat looked up and purred a friendly hello to her friend. "Hello Lionclaw. Yes, it is a nice day." she replied. "I hope it means the end of leaf-bare." Leaf-bare but by far the least favorite season in the forest, especially for Starlight who loved the warmth of the marsh's floor and the plentiful prey that always came with it. OOC>> Okay all done now! It's a little better, but still not great.

OOC: *Is bumped off thread* Woman overboard!!
IC: Lionclaw has always marveled the bond that clan-cats share with each other, and is proud to be counted among them. Now, it seems as if Starlight has read his exact thoughts. Lionclaw purrs softly in agreement, adding a faint noise to the serene silence that hovers over WindClan's familiar camp. His whiskers and his fluffy golden tail twitch in amusement in what appears to be a simeltaneous movement. "One can only hope," Lionclaw mews wistfully, but cheerfully. He always tries to remain optimisitic. Moping around expecting the worst only makes life harder, and there is no need to do that. "But I'm sure that StarClan thinks a bountiful New-Leaf would be too easy."
Lionclaw rolls his eyes good-naturedly, and sighs a little before he looks again around the camp. It really is a nice day though, better then a lot of the weather they have been getting lately. Maybe it really is time for a well-deserved change. StarClan knows that after all WindClan has been put through these past moons, they deserve it. But even if luck is kind, they have to do their part as warriors to. Lionclaw looks over to the fresh-kill pile, and his eyes narrow when he sees that it's low already. He turns back to Starlight and smiles.
"Hey, I was thinking about going hunting. Do you want to come? That is, if you aren't busy." He added politely.

((OOC>> WOOOOW... We really DID go inactive for a while! xD)) Starlight smiled at his comment and nodded in agreement. Then went back to her grooming. She'd nearly finished now, and was just cleaning the fur on her paws when the tom spoke up again. The tabby looked up, almost not catching what he said, but hearing it at the last possible moment. She stared at him for a moment, analyzing the words, then blinked and nodded. "Sure." she said with another friendly smile, glancing over at the fresh-kill pile he'd been observing moments earlier. "I suppose we should stock up while we can." she added, looked back up at him. The she-cat got to her feet and stretched, the sun warming the skin beneath her fur and making her silver coat shine. Her bath had done it's job apparently.
"Lead the way."
((OOC>> Wow that sucked. I'm rusty on Warriors RPing! -goes to do RPing push ups, whatever those are!-))

OOC: XD Don't worry. Me too.
IC: Lionclaw nods, his spirit brightening a little. Hunting will be a bit more enjoyable now that he isn't doing it alone. He stands up and stretches, flexing his muscles in anticipation for a hunting session. WindClan hunters have to be lean and fit, as well as fast enough to outrun a rabbit as it bounds through the moorlands. So, he gives himself a shake, and turns back to gaze expectantly at Starlight. His pelt catches the sun and glimmers golden in contrast with her shining silver fur. Starlight tells him to lead the way, and Lionclaw twitches his whiskers in agreement and sets off at a steady pace, glancing back at his companion. It is a sunny day, and the warm weather will probably bring the prey right out of their dens. They might have the best luck in the warmest area, the Moorlands, although Lionclaw feels pretty easy-going today. He could hunt anywhere. Energy courses through his long limbs, his claws grinding the sandy dirt between them as they unsheath and sheath again as he walks quietly.
"You up for a run in the moors?" He asks Starlight, wondering if she has a better place to hunt in mind.

The she-cat waited for Lionclaw to ready himself. He stood and stretched his long limbs. The sun's rays hit his pelt in just the right way, making him appear to be glowing. Starlight's whiskers twitched in amusement, knowing that many other cats in the clan would assume he was showing off. But the silver warrior knew better. When it came to she-cats, Lionclaw just didn't have a clue. Starlight would find much enjoyment out of it when Lionclaw finally fell for someone.
He bounded out of the camp, setting the pace. She quickly followed, keeping up smoothly. As the padded along the soft ground outside of the camp, she stretched her appendages long infront of and behind her, letting the warmth seep into her from both above, the sun, and below, the ground. Soon, Lionclaw turned to look at her from over his shoulder. "You up for a run in the moors?" Starlight nodded and added with a smile. "Yeah. That sounds perfect." She would greatly enjoy a run through the WindClan's best hunting territory. Especially on a day like this.
