Gather 'round! I've had a (nother) new idea! I was looking back at the old site, which most of us (with the exeption of the newer members) were on, and was looking at all our old characters and plots and such. The head admin(Roxie) and I had recently had a discussion regarding how using characters that we've roleplayed with for the past three years is starting to wear down its fun-factor. That's when I got to thinking. We miss our old characters, and we'll always love them, but I think what we miss even more is all the good plots we used to have. It seems like all of our good ones were used up when we first joined the original Lighted Path. Which is a shame since we were all (inept? is that the word for it? Let's just say most of us were: ) less the great roleplayers. Now here is where my idea comes in.
All this time we were always thinking, lets bring our old characters back and try redoing old plots only better. Well, we quickly lost interest in that. But what I think is insted of bringing it all back, we create it anew! Insted of using old worn out characters that have fulfilled their life's worth, we can make new ones to take over. We'll play old plots similar to the ones we had on the original site, only better because of how much we've grown over the past three years, and it will be a fresh start because of the new characters who have yet to prove themselves.
Now feel free to tell me your opinions and complaints on this idea, and don't hold back. After three years of roleplaying, I'm used to a little disappointment now and again. Also feel free to stand up and say 'this rules!' if that's how you're feeling because that is certainly how I feel now. ^^
