Moon yawned as the sun sunk lower into the sky. He knew that he was giving the kittypet too much time. Surely she had caught at least 10 mice by now. He leaped to his white paws and went in search of the golden shecat. He found her and nearly fell over in laughter. Her once beautiful coat was clotted and knotted with mud and dry flakes of soft earth. He held back his laughter though and padded up to her. He saw how well her prey was and nodded. "Good job, but couldn't it of been just a little bit more graceful? You look like a mound of dirt." He purred. "But overall good job, you even caught a bird. I am surprised. Usually kittypets can only catch mice."

Tiki looks up, and sure enough, she sees the tom padding back over to her. He looks amused, and she wonders why. She bristles defensively. Does he think her hunting skills are laughable? But then he speaks, and she realizes he is laughing at how she looks. She twists around to try to get a few of her pelt, and realizes that she is covered with sprinkles of dirt from the garden. Tiki blinks.
As a kittypet, she is usually very defensive of her looks. For a moment, she doesn't say anything. But his compliment does lighten her up some, and Tiki sighs. At least the hunt went well. She even begins to see a little amusement in this situation herself. She shrugs and tries to snort, but it comes out as more of a giggle. She's too proud to really laugh at herself, but she has to admit it's sort of funny.
She shakes her pelt a bit, trying to get some of the dirt off of her. "Well...thank you." Tiki sighs at last, not sure what else to say. "It's not so hard. But I expect you know that. What kind of prey to catch out in the wild?" She asks, looking out over the fence. She has spent some time out there, but never really hunting. It's usually just exploring that Tiki does, and even then she's only ever been to the places where loners live in the barns. Loners don't have much territory to defend, unlike the Clan cats she hears so much about.

Moon flicked his tail and glanced backwards. "well," He began. He sat then and curled his tail around his snow white paws. His mossy green eyes unclear and unfocused. "In my clan we hunt mice, birds, vole, even frogs and snakes if we find it. Clans need lots more territory than single cats. We've got more mouths to feed." He got to his paws and lightly touched his nose to Tiki's pelt. "Come, follow me. Time for your prize."
