YES Aspenleaf's kits ARE in Riverclan. She put them here to hide them from Wit.))
Reeds fell flat as the figure of cat pushed through the edge of the Riverclan camp, usually bright blue eyes where now narrowed dangerously in pure anger. Mousepaw ignored the weeds pulling at her fur as she broke a hole in the camp’s protective wall, her grey tail lashing in anger. Ears pinned back against her head and her quick pace told any cat not to even dare talk to her. Even her fur bristled against the crisp autumn air, as she entered the camp clearing, she didn’t bother looking for any others that might have sought refuge against the cold winds that signaled the coming leaf-bare. As she neared the apprentice’s den, she heard the familiar yowl of anger call her name but she merely ignored Spiderpaw’s voice. Her half-brother, Spiderpaw, was nearly three moons older then her though he acted her age. Both of them had the stubborn personality of their mother, though Mousepaw spoke everything she thought or felt while Spiderpaw remained silent about almost everything. Spiderpaw had only Mousepaw as a friend while Mousepaw had nearly every cat in the forest as her friends. Both had huge egos they needed to protect, and neither would dare admit they gave-in or gave-up especially when it came to fights and even play-fights.
Another yowl broke through the silent autumn air, though Mousepaw acted as if it had remained silent. The two of them often fought, Mousepaw always wanted to see Thunderclan and when Aspenleaf was alive, she wanted to see her mother all the time. Spiderpaw of course, didn’t agree to any of it he decided that he hated his mother for sending them both away to this clan. When they where old enough to walk and most of Spiderpaw’s full brothers and sisters disappeared completely. All of his younger siblings disappeared completely as well for some unknown reason the two of them had remained safe. That is until the last moon Aspenleaf was alive. She sent them away to Riverclan saying Trixiepelt would gladly look after them even as they cried to Aspenleaf as she walked away….she didn’t even look back. Since their trip to Riverclan, both apprentices have experienced many near-death encounters.
One unknown fact tore these two apart, their fathers. Neither of them knew Spiderpaw was the result of force-breeding and his father was Wit. Mousepaw was the only other thing Aspenleaf and Ravenheart did right….both dieing because of the unknown father of Spiderpaw. But the death of their parents wasn’t what made Mousepaw break the wall to the clan camp or why she was throwing herself down in her nest and closing her eyes against the world. It was in fact her closest friend and biggest nemesis…….Spiderpaw.
The two had been at the river when the argument started and the words that where exchanged during the fight are why tears nearly fell from her eyes as she fled the scene at the river. At the moment, Mousepaw wished the worst to her bother….to disappear in oblivion with the rest of her siblings. To never been seen again, unknown if they’re dead or alive as if they never even existed…..the only thing left of them where fading memories and lost stories of play fights as kits.
Eyes closed tight against the world as she lay in the nest, she didn’t feel any of the usual cold winds on autumn. She only felt anger and hate….and maybe even a deep sadness of her dead mother.
