. How long now? How many moons, years, days, hours, minutes and even seconds has it been since joining this clan? The real answer would forever be forgotten unlike his unforgettable past. Gaze, hue of dying amber flames, narrowed dangerously at the mere thought of his past. A kitty-pet was to never be accepted into the ranks of bloodclan and yet? Here he stood, a warrior of the clan. Unsheathed claws silently dug deeper into the loose black top soil left over from last summers fire that had the clan running from this very forest. How could one merely drop off their past and start new? He already killed off every member of his family, well, at least all but one. Twilight still remained but killing her would prove to be much more of a challenge then simply slitting the throats of his mother, older brother and any other surviving kin. True, his sister was peace loving and easy going, but she had a dark side to her as well. She was very skilled in fighting with the same eagle-like claws he had and now with clan loyalties.
. No matter, Bloodclan was quickly growing and without much time, the clan would easily destroy weak clans such as Windclan. Ebony head shook in slight annoyance for getting ahead of himself again. No matter how big Bloodclan got, they still needed to be skilled in killing and the clans would just band together again. The mere thought of Bloodclan loosing the forest to Starclan's clans again nearly brought a snarl to his already twisted face. Tainted gaze swept the charred forest once over again, checking for any signs of the clan, prey or one of his countless enemies that could be prowling this very forest.
. With nothing, not even a mere green plant, in his field of vision Lunar paused his walk. He had no where to go. With ease and grace, Lunar leapt onto the nearest charred trunk of a leave-less tree. Claws dug deep into the weak bark of the dead tree as he left the ground for the higher branches of the tree. Heavy, soot stained paws dabbed at a sturdy looking branch before him. What he was doing or why was unknown to both him and the silent shadows that watched him. With confident but slow steps, the Bloodclan warrior eased his way out to the middle of the branch that over looked the rest of the long dead forest. His dark gaze falling to the worn pathway beneath him. He knew he should be heading toward camp to collect orders or just leave this forest to hunt but he remained frozen.
. For once in over three moons, Lunar felt some what at home in this forest of the dead. Amongst death, he felt alive and lethal again. Assured of his iscolation, his mind flashed back to the only cat standing in his way of true power.....Twilight. His twin Shadowclan sister needed to die. With the last of his blood line gone, Lunar could focus completely on killing off the rest of the clans one by one. So much work to be done and not enough time was what he had been told so many times before this and until now, he never truely understood the meaning of the saying.
. A deep sigh cut through the silence that bestowed the forest like some unseen plague. Except for the soft thud of heavy paws meeting soft undergrowth, nothing could be heard. Perhaps Bloodclan really did lack so many members that he would never meet one outside of camp. Or perhaps, and more likely every Bloodclan warrior was busy or hiding.....
