Ugh. The first step is admitting you have a problem. I keep telling myself I'm NOT going to make any more characters, but then I keep getting plot idea after plot idea. Infact, Imma make ANOTHER plot character for Dawnie & Tessa after this. -shoots self- The answer? Kill some of my old characters, of course. -evil laugh- All in good time...
Name: Cherrykit
Age: Five moons.
Gender: She-cat.
Clan: ThunderClan
Position: Kit, almost an apprentice.
Description: At her age, Cherrykit isn't too much smaller than a young apprentice would be. She certainly feels that she should be one of them by now, but that's out of her control. She is a mild looking cat, who doesn't appear to be very fast or strong--when she is, in fact, both. Of course, she wouldn't yet stand a chance against a fully trained warrior, but that's all the more reason she's eager to begin her training.
Her fur is long, for the most part, especially around her tail and chest. Around her legs and paws, it becomes a bit shorter and more feathery in texture, but all in all she has an unusually soft, smooth pelt. Her coat is a variety of different colors, forming a calico pattern. Cherrykit's base color seems to be a clean white. Her legs, chest, muzzle, and stomach are all colored ivory. However, she is splashed with several other hues that form interesting patterns upon her pelt. Around her back, Cherrykit has various patches of ginger and black, and these two colors streak up to her fluffy tail as well. They also mark her face, around her eyes and ears, and even have a bit of peppery brown thrown in.
The little kit has a highly inquisitive face. Her eyes are alight with...well, not quite what you'd call childish curiousity. It's more accurately described as a questioning, calculating look, almost as if she's sizing up anyone she stares at. There is a glimpse of intelligence in her young eyes that seems almost disconcerting, though most merely assume they'd imagined it whenever they notice. In color, Cherrykit's eyes are a shimmering amber, a shade of golden akin to the color of the setting sun. Her little pink nose and her slightly over-sized ears are kittish features that still haven't matured, though they add to her image of innocence.
Picture.
Personality: Cherrykit isn't particularly close to anyone in her Clan, and so there aren't many who know much about her. Because of this, she often slips under the radar, ignored and treated simply as another kit to occasionally fawn over. Truth be told, Cherrykit hates being treated like this, and she doesn't respond kindly to it. She is extremely intelligent and mature for her age, although most don't know it, and she can't stand being underestimated. She is constantly trying to prove herself to the warriors of her Clan, simply because she wishes to gain respect among her Clan-mates.
She is clever and rather manipulative. There's a cunning quality about her that could possibly be dangerous in the future. She doesn't speak much, simply because she has learned that no one is really willing to listen to a kit of only five moons. But Cherrykit is very observant, and notices things that even half the older cats in her Clan don't. She enjoys proving that she's smarter than her Clan-mates, especially those who are around her age. This often involves some sort of mind-game, which ends up either irritating or frightening her chosen victim of the day.
Perhaps the most troublesome trait in the young she-cat's personality is her indifference. She truly and honestly seems to see no line or distinction of any kind between what is right, and what is wrong. Cherrykit will do things that get her into trouble, and for all her intelligence, she seems to have no idea why she is punished for them. Plainly put, she has no morals; no sense of where to draw the line. There is a certain kit-like innocence that goes along with this, so that most don't really believe she meant to do any harm, but there is also a strange shadowy edge to her personality. Cherrykit seems to develop grim fascinations with the most gruesome things. She's the feline equivolent of the kid who burns ants under a magnifying glass, just to see what would happen.
She is very impatient and reserved. Cherrykit doesn't really seem to enjoy the company of her denmates. She is also very tempermental, sly, and brooding...she makes the biggest deal out of the tiniest things, and she is definately one to hold a grudge. When she becomes angry, she developes an almost manic obsession with revenge.
If all of these behaviors aren't soon corrected, they could lead to serious and dangerous issues when Cherrykit grows older. The problem is, who is willing to correct her? For she seems very reluctant to follow orders of any kind, even from the Clan leader. She certainly has her own mind, and while she is very smart, she doesn't know everything...and she thinks she does.
Crush: Nope.
History:Perhaps the reason that Cherrykit is the way she is, is that she's had no real guidance(or affection, for that matter) shown to her in her short life. Her mother...really wasn't the motherly type. Her name was Fernleaf, and pregnancy did not suit her. She was much more of a warrior than a queen, and truth be told, she had no desire to keep her kits once they were born. Cherrykit's brother was still-born, anyway, so Fernleaf only had one kit to worry about. Even so, she tried to pass them into another queen's care, but no queen in the nursery at the time had milk to spare.
So, Fernleaf reluctantly cared for Cherrykit for the first two moons of her daughter's life. And then, as soon as the little kit could live on her own, she left her to resume her warrior duties. Cherrykit was left without any siblings or friends, and her mother seemed to all but forget about her as time passed. She was left under the watchful eyes of the other queens, but she ignored them for the most part--all she craved was her mother's attention.
But, if this was improbable before, it soon became impossible. In late New-Leaf, a terrible thunderstorm raged through the Clan's territory, and lightning struck down a tree. Fernleaf was killed in the resulting accident, and it was then that Cherrykit was left completely alone. Though the other queens, as well as the occasional warrior(her father died before she was born), made sure she was fed and that she didn't do anything stupid, Cherrykit for the most part learned to fend for herself.
There isn't much else to say. She's only a kit, after all.

Well, ThunderClan has 13. ShadowClan has 14. You have more ShadowClan cats than ThunderClan. ThunderClan has two kits to be denmates. But it really kind of depends. Do you have a specific plot in mind for her? Because if it's a plot you don't really want to wait on, remember that all of ThunderClan are being kidnapped by the Others. Like, soon.

Well now that you mention it, the kidnapping thing may be the perfect thing to twist this character up even more...so yeah, I think ThunderClan =).
