Personality:
Aspenleaf is a very fun-loving kind of cat. She's breezy and casual, and loves to joke around. She can be very sarcastic at times. She loves to laugh and have fun, and can turn anything into a game. She gets along well with younger cats, being as she's able to make simple, ordinary and usually boring tasks look fun. She's a very fun mentor. But don't get me wrong. She knows how to be serious. Otherwise, Hawkstar wouldn't have chosen her to be the deputy. She's only her funny, sarcastic self around Clanmates and old friends. But she can be as strict and serious as any other cat. She's very good at taking charge and handling situations, and is very patient. She's also very compassionate and intuitive.

History:
Her mom was a ShadowClan deputy who fell in love with the ThunderClan leader. When she was born, that love began to fall apart as they fueded over where Aspenkit should be raised. Obviously Owleye thought her only kit should stay with her in ShadowClan. After all, she was Aspenkit's mother. But her father, Graystar had no other kits, and was very attatched to his one and only. He wanted her to come live with him in ThunderClan so he would have the chance to get to know her. The constant fighting drove Aspenkit to abandon both Clans and find a home with a completely seperate Clan. So she joined WindClan. She happened to like running over the open moore better than through the forest anyway. As she grew up in WindClan, she befriended Hawkstar and his littermates. They were best friends, seeing as it was only Hawkstar and his siblings and her there. And since there was only one queen, Hawkstar's mother nursed her as well until she was able to eat freshkill regularly. Hawkstar and Aspenleaf were best friends as they trained and became warriors together. Hawkstar's siblings grew apart but Hawkstar and Aspenleaf remained close, that is, until he became deputy. And then leader. They haven't had much time to spend together lately. But Hawkstar could think of no one better to help him lead his Clan than Aspenleaf. So she was made deputy.
