Personality: Mistystar is a wise and noble cat. She is still pretty young for an adult cat, but she is very experienced as well. She makes a good leader to her Clan because of her excellent decision making skills. When Mistystar makes decisions, she never lets her emotions or personal interest get in the way. She does what is best for her Clan, and her Clan alone. She is also fiercely loyal to ShadowClan, and very proud to lead them. She doesn’t like other Clan cats very much, and doesn’t trust them a bit, although she respects them. Mistystar is very independent and extremely stubborn, and she doesn’t like accepting help from anyone although she is wise enough to know when she has to. She is a very strict, no-nonsense leader who sticks to the warrior code no matter what. Although she is gentle and compassionate towards members of her Clan and puts them before her life, toward outsiders Mistystar appears as cold and uncaring. She has a dark side to her personality that sometimes rears its ugly head, and can be the cause of mood swings. She is fiercely sharp-tongued and a furious opponent in battle if the cats in question are threatening her Clan. She is very confident, or if she is not, she never shows it. Mistystar’s personality is accompanied with a large deal of sarcasm, which she usually speaks with.

History: Mistystar was born in ShadowClan with two other kits; Marshkit and Fogkit. She was the only girl of her litter, so she was constantly competing with her two brothers and trying to prove that she was just as good and strong as they were. As a kit, she was a tom-boy, and was always getting herself and her littermates into trouble. When she was an apprentice, her mentor’s name was Rainpool. Rainpool was very strict and strong-willed, and never fooled around when they would go out training. One Leaf-Bare, green-cough spread around the camp. Fogpaw and Marshpaw were among those who caught it. Marshpaw’s case was mild and subsided with the help of some cat-nip, but Fogpaw died. Mistypaw was devastated, but her mentor had no sympathy. Rainpool did not let her off training even for a day, and refused to let her give in to moping. Though it seemed a little harsh, it kept her busy and with a normal life routine, it helped Mistypaw recover somewhat faster. But after that day she was different. She wasn’t as playful as she used to be, but had grown serious. She trained very hard, telling herself that she was doing it for Fogpaw, and finally became a warrior. Her warrior name was Mistypelt, and Marshpaw’s was Marshsilence. As a warrior, Marshsilence was her closest friend and most trusted confident. But one day he fell in love with a RiverClan cat, and when she had his kits, he moved to the Clan to be with her. Mistypelt felt more alone than ever, and grew very distant from the rest of ShadowClan. She and her brother met in secret at times, and those were one of the few times that were happy.
Soon, Mistypelt was made the ShadowClan deputy after the old one died in a battle. She subconsciously felt betrayed by her brother, and wanted to prove herself desperately, so after this Mistypelt began to focus completely on loyalty to her Clan. When she was made leader, Mistystar continued this behavior until this day.
